Consent can be revoked at any time. If your data is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we will process your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data if it is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Data processing may also take place on the basis of our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The relevant legal bases for each individual case are explained in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.

Notice regarding data transfer to the USA and other third countries

We use tools from companies based in the USA or other countries outside the EU which may not have an adequate level of data protection. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in these third countries. We would like to inform you that these countries do not guarantee a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU. For example, US companies are required to disclose personal data to security authorities without the possibility of legal recourse by the affected individuals. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence agencies) may process, analyze and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. However, the lawfulness of data processing that occurred before the revocation is not affected by it.

Right of objection to data collection in special cases and against direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data, including profiling based on these provisions. You can find the respective legal basis on which processing is based in this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (objection according to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR).

If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct advertising, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such advertising, including profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct advertising. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct advertising (objection according to Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

The right to data portability

You have the right to receive the personal data that we process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, in a commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another data controller. If you request direct transmission of the data to another controller, this will only be done if technically feasible.

Information, Correction, and Deletion

You have the right, within the scope of applicable legal provisions, to obtain free information at any time about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for any other questions regarding personal data, you can contact us at any time.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time to exercise this right. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data.

If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.

If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data instead of deletion.

If you have filed an objection according to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR, a balancing of interests must be made between your interests and ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests outweigh the other, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data may - apart from their storage - only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

You can set your browser to notify you when cookies are set and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Google reCAPTCHA

We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data input on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is done by a human or an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor using various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. To carry out the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of time the website visitor stays on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting their web offerings against abusive automated spying and spam. If consent has been requested, processing will be carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
